The romantic comedy ‘Prem Keetanu’ was introduced via a trailer released by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, featuring Veer Pahariya, Aparshakti Khurana, and Aafiya Sayed. The film is set in Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi-NCR region, focusing on themes of college life, first love, and the complexities of modern relationships.

In anticipation of its global theatrical release on October 2, 2026, the filmmakers released a heartbreak song titled ‘Tujhse Bichhad Ke’, performed by Madhur Sharma with music by Rahul Mishra. Produced by Gaurav Verma under Avanika Films, the movie explores themes of friendship and the transition into adulthood.

Upon its release, the film was identified as the official Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam movie ‘Premalu’. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the narrative follows a college student named Vishal whose life changes after falling for Suhani, leading to a love triangle involving a rival named Ranjeet. While the film has been noted for its musical score and emotional honesty, critical reception has been mixed, with some reviewers noting weaknesses in the screenplay and character depth.
