The Tamil romantic film ‘Haiku’, directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy and starring Aegan, Sridevi, and Femina George, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23.

Prior to its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted the film a U/A certificate. Producer Dr D Arulanandhu reported that the project, produced with an investment of approximately Rs 11 crore, had recovered about 80 per cent of its costs through the sale of various rights. This includes OTT rights, which accounted for 60 per cent of the investment, with Netflix securing the digital streaming rights.

Lead actor Aegan described the film as a “feel-good” story set against a college backdrop that follows a character’s transition from a student to a mature family man, blending romance, humor, and emotional depth.
