Vu is accused of conducting a nationwide rental deposit scam by using stolen images of properties to create fake Facebook listings. The investigation indicates that Vu solicited deposits between 500,000 VND and 2.5 million VND from potential tenants before ceasing communication. Police are working to verify transactions involving more than 100 victims across various provinces and cities.
