Various retail developments and new store openings have been announced across several Japanese prefectures.

In Hyogo Prefecture, Aeon Retail plans to open the Soyora Ono facility in Ono City on April 1, 2027, occupying the site of a former Aeon store. In Nagano Prefecture, the Aeon Style Suwa is scheduled to open in Shimosuwa on October 21, 2026, featuring a rooftop observation deck and multi-generational exchange space. Additionally, Loft Co., Ltd. will launch a new branch at Aeon Mall Nagoya Dome Mae in Aichi Prefecture on October 23, 2026, offering merchandise including collaborations with the Chunichi Dragons.
