Veteran Greek basketball players Thodoris Zaras and Charis Giannopoulos have announced their retirement from professional play. Together, the two shooters recorded a combined 907 successful three-pointers in the Greek Basketball League (GBL). Giannopoulos, who played for clubs including Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, finished his nearly 20-year career ranked 9th on the GBL’s all-time list.

Thodoris Zaras, who concluded an 18-year career that included stints with Aris, PAOK, and Iraklis, finished 12th on the league’s all-time three-point list.
