German supermarket chain Rewe is expanding its organic product offerings. The retailer reached an agreement to list Alnatura products in its stores starting in autumn, a move that shifts Alnatura from its historical wholesale partnership with competitor Edeka to Rewe.

In addition to this brand expansion, Rewe’s own private label, Rewe Bio, has received a ‘particularly recommended’ evaluation from Label-Online. The Rewe Bio assortment includes over 700 products, with approximately half carrying additional certification from the Naturland association to meet specific standards for animal welfare and antibiotic use.
