Rheinmetall subsidiaries have secured several contracts to support United States military equipment and modernization programs.

In Michigan, American Rheinmetall obtained a $710,000 subcontract from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace to manufacture machined components for the MCT-30 medium caliber turret. These parts support the ACV-30 infantry fighting vehicle variant within the U.S. Marine Corps’ Amphibious Combat Vehicle program, with production and deliveries expected throughout 2026 and 2027.

American Rheinmetall also secured a $7.28 million contract through the Defense Logistics Agency to provide twelve Mission Master SP autonomous unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). These 8x8 electric-powered platforms utilize the PATH autonomy architecture for navigation in complex environments and limited GPS conditions. The order includes five amphibious kits intended for logistics, reconnaissance, and casualty evacuation.

Additionally, Rheinmetall Canada was awarded a multi-million euro contract from the U.S. Department of Defense, facilitated through the Canadian Commercial Corporation. The agreement involves supplying spare parts for the U.S. Navy’s MSU-200-NAV mobile aircraft start units, specifically components for starters and Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) systems. These units, which enable aircraft engine starts on land and aboard ships, will be maintained and developed at Rheinmetall’s facility in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Canada. Deliveries for this contract are scheduled from late 2026 through 2028.
