Mozambique Republic Police (PRM) apprehended a 38-year-old suspect following the poaching of a rhinoceros in the Massingir district of Gaza Province. The operation, conducted in coordination with reserve rangers, involved a raid on a residence that resulted in the seizure of four firearms, an axe, and two vehicles.

While one suspect is in custody, authorities are actively pursuing three other individuals involved in the incident.
