The Municipality of Riccione has allocated a fund of over 30,000 euros to support school transportation for students with certified disabilities who lack autonomy.

Intended for the 2026 calendar year, the measure provides direct economic contributions to resident families who manage commutes to local schools via private vehicles or third parties. Eligible students include those in nursery, primary, or lower secondary schools. To qualify, families must provide disability certification, demonstrate independent transport, and ensure the student maintains at least 50% school attendance.

Reimbursement amounts are determined by distance. For trips up to 5 kilometers, the base annual contribution is 600 euros, increasing to 720 euros for families with multiple disabled students. For distances exceeding 5 kilometers, the base annual amount is 900 euros, which can rise to 1,080 euros for families with two or more disabled children. The total available fund is 30,723.31 euros; if applications exceed this amount, funds will be distributed proportionally.
