RioLuz has implemented LED lighting modernization projects across various locations in Rio de Janeiro as part of the city’s ‘Luz Maravilha’ programme.

In late July, the agency completed an upgrade at Aterro do Cocotá park on Ilha do Governador, installing approximately 460 LED luminaires and 190 projectors to improve safety and light distribution for sports and cultural areas.
