The Public Defender’s Office of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (DPE-RN) has initiated the process for its III Public Defender exam by contracting Cebraspe to organize the selection. The contract, authorized via a bidding waiver, has an estimated value of R$ 1,687,380.52.

Following the initial contracting phase, the DPE-RN confirmed that the exam will offer ten immediate vacancies for the position of substitute public defender, alongside the creation of a reserve list. The selection process is expected to take approximately 320 days to complete all stages. The exam will include objective, discursive, and oral tests, as well as a title evaluation. Additionally, the process will implement quotas for people with disabilities (10%), Black and mixed-race individuals (20%), and Indigenous and Quilombola people (3%).
