Infrastructure repair efforts are underway across various regions of Rio Grande do Sul to restore damaged roadways and bridges.

On the ERS-640 highway, recovery works have restored approximately 40 kilometers of the segment connecting São Vicente do Sul and Rosário do Sul through Cacequi. This project, funded by nearly R$ 107 million from Funrigs, involves reinforcing road layers, applying new asphalt, and repairing water management structures. Approximately 90% of drainage services have been completed.

Additionally, the bridge over the Guaporé River on the ERS-129 highway, which connects Encantado and Muçum, has fully reopened. The bridge had been closed since July 24 for the reconstruction of a pillar locking structure wall. The R$ 4.9 million repair project experienced delays due to heavy rainfall and rising river levels during August and September.
