During the Bangkok meetings, Ripple’s policy lead, Rahul Advani, joined an Atlantic Council GeoEconomics Center panel to discuss tokenized settlement markets and the integration of stablecoins into the future financial system. Ripple is also participating in the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s BLOOM initiative, a program involving the World Bank Group, the Bank of England, and the Bank of Thailand to explore synchronized settlement mechanisms for foreign exchange transactions using tokenized bank liabilities and regulated stablecoins. Additionally, Ripple is piloting programmable cross-border trade settlements utilizing the XRP Ledger and its RLUSD stablecoin on Unloq’s SC+ infrastructure.
