The Chicago punk rock band Rise Against released two new singles, ‘Katy Bar The Door’ and ‘Living Undercover’, ahead of a scheduled U.S. tour starting in late September. Vocalist Tim McIlrath stated that ‘Katy Bar The Door’ was inspired by the aftermath of violent ICE raids in Minneapolis and acts as a commentary on the “fragility of democracy and abuses of power”.

Following these releases, the band is scheduled to perform at the Rock in Rio festival on September 4, appearing on the Palco Mundo stage.
