Developments: 3. River Plate midfielder Tobías Andrada has drawn interest from Inter Milan and Bayer Leverkusen as part of a long-term talent project. Andrada is currently under contract until 2030 with a release clause of 100 million euros. Following a match against Huracán, Andrada’s status shifted toward injury concerns after experiencing physical discomfort. While his condition was reported as a “less severe contraction,” teammate Thiago Almada was diagnosed with a grade 1 tear in his left quadriceps. As a result of this injury, Almada was forced to be substituted by Lucas Beltrán and will miss the upcoming FIFA international window with the Argentina national team, including friendly matches against Bolivia, Burkina Faso, and Benin. Estimates suggest Almada will require approximately three weeks of recovery, an absence that poses a challenge for River Plate’s interim manager, Leonardo Ponzio, as the club prepares for Torneo Clausura fixtures. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-02: River Plate players attract interest from major European clubs River Plate players Santiago Beltrán and Tobías Andrada are attracting interest from major European clubs like Atlético de Madrid and Inter Milan, amid rising performances from Gianluca Prestianni. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/santiago-beltrn-attracts-interest-from-major-european-football-clubs ### 2026-09-19: Thiago Almada diagnosed with muscle tear, missing Argentina call-up River Plate midfielder Thiago Almada will miss upcoming matches for both his club and the Argentina national team after being diagnosed with a grade 1 quadriceps tear. 11 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/thiago-almada-and-tobas-andrada-face-injury-concerns ### 2026-09-13: River Plate's Tobías Andrada attracts interest from Inter Milan River Plate midfielder Tobías Andrada has attracted interest from Inter Milan following a standout performance and his first goal in a victory against Atlético Tucumán. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/river-plates-tobas-andrada-attracts-interest-from-inter-milan --- Cite as: River Plate player Tobías Andrada status.
