RK Sisak marked its return to the Croatian handball Premier League after a 13-year absence with a historical exhibition at the Vlado Gotovac National Library, commemorating the club’s history dating back to 1953. In league play, the Sisak women’s team secured a 33:26 victory against Umag in the third round. Despite Umag’s Miočinović scoring 11 goals, Sisak maintained control through a decisive scoring run in the final stages of the match. Sisak continued its momentum in the Paket24 Premijer liga during the 6th round, defeating Karlovac 30:28 on their home court. Sisak established an early 7:2 lead and maintained control for much of the game. Although Karlovac attempted a late comeback to reduce the deficit to 29:27, Sisak secured the win with a final goal by Kobetić. Karlovac’s performance was hampered by defensive weaknesses, 12 turnovers, and a red card issued to Šnajder in the 29th minute for protesting a referee's decision. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-17: Sisak defeats Karlovac 30:28 in Croatian handball league Sisak defeated Karlovac 30:28 in a Croatian Premijer liga handball match, capitalizing on Karlovac's defensive errors and a red card issued to Šnajder. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/sisak-defeats-karlovac-3028-in-croatian-handball-league ### 2026-10-06: Croatian women's handball: Sisak and Zamet secure league victories Sisak defeated Umag 33:26 in women's handball, while Zamet overcame a halftime deficit to beat Bjelovar 27:20. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/croatian-womens-handball-sisak-and-zamet-secure-league-victories ### 2026-09-18: RK Sisak celebrates return to Croatian handball Premier League RK Sisak celebrates its return to the Croatian handball Premier League after 13 years with a historical exhibition in Sisak. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/rk-sisak-celebrates-return-to-croatian-handball-premier-league --- Cite as: RK Sisak handball league performance.
