In Kandahar province, a head-on collision between a truck and a bus in the Daman district resulted in five deaths and 15 injuries. Local authorities identified speeding and driver negligence as recurring issues contributing to such fatalities.

In the northern Badakhshan province, a passenger vehicle overturned while traveling between the Kofab and Yaftal districts, leaving four people dead and eight injured.
