WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg has been active in public discussions regarding professional wrestling industry recognition and his own career trajectory. On October 4, 2026, he used social media to advocate for the induction of The Miz and the late Chyna into the WWE Hall of Fame, arguing that The Miz has earned the distinction and that Chyna deserves recognition as a singles star.

During this period, Road Dogg also addressed his March 2026 departure from WWE, stating the company had become too focused on financial metrics and was no longer enjoyable.

By October 8, 2026, it was announced that Road Dogg would return to in-ring competition on October 22 at Jeff Jarrett’s All-Star Super Slam in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This event marks his first official match in over 11 years, following his last appearance at the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble. He is scheduled to team with Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal against QT Marshall, Elijah Drago, and Brady Booker.
