Rockefeller Center has announced the selection of a 75-year-old Norway spruce for the 2026 holiday season in Manhattan. The tree, donated by Rebecca Decker, originates from West Edmeston, New York. It stands approximately 76 feet tall, has a diameter of roughly 50 feet, and weighs about 11 tons.

The tree is scheduled to be harvested on November 5, 2026, and arrive at Rockefeller Plaza on November 7. A “Meet the Tree Day” event will be held on November 7 to view the tree before decoration begins. The display will feature over 50,000 LED lights and a Swarovski star.

The official lighting ceremony is scheduled for December 2, 2026, and will be broadcast live by NBC. The tree will remain on display until mid-January 2027, after which the wood will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
