Rome has launched the ‘Roma Corre in Bici’ campaign to encourage daily bicycle use as part of European Mobility Week. The initiative provides financial incentives of 0.30 euros per kilometer traveled, with daily caps of 10 euros and monthly caps of 30 euros.

Supported by a 470,000 euro fund from Roma Capitale and Sport e Salute, the program is available to students at accredited schools or universities and employees of companies within the Mobility Management network. Participants are required to use the Wecity digital platform to track their trips, and incentives are distributed via bank transfer once a minimum threshold of one euro is reached.
