Rosario Central recently conducted administrative and sporting activities. The club held general assemblies where members unanimously approved the annual report and financial balance for the period ending June 30, 2026. This report noted a financial surplus, a professional squad valuation of $63 million, and $13 million invested in infrastructure over four years. An electoral commission was also established to oversee elections expected to conclude by December 20.

On the pitch, Rosario Central secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Sarmiento de Junín during matchday 15 of the Torneo Clausura at the Eva Perón Stadium. Although Manuel García scored for Sarmiento in the 5th minute, Gastón Ávila scored both goals for the visiting side, including an equalizer in the 28th minute and a decisive strike in stoppage time. The match was marked by physical tension, resulting in Sarmiento finishing with nine players after two red cards for Orihuela and Salle. Rosario Central also lost Ángel Di María to physical discomfort during the second half.

Following this victory, Rosario Central reached 59 points in the annual table, moving into sole possession of first place, two points ahead of Boca Juniors and Argentinos Juniors.
