The Rota FIERGS project, an initiative by the Rio Grande do Sul Federation of Industries, held a meeting in Bento Gonçalves to address industrial priorities and manufacturing sector demands in the Serra region.

Following the meeting, the Bento+20 proposal was selected as the top priority for the region. This initiative seeks to establish a permanent industrial observatory to map market competencies and address skilled labor shortages by bridging the gap between technical education and technological shifts. Other identified priorities include expanding digitalization for small enterprises and developing an additive manufacturing solutions center. This follows an announcement of over R$ 131 million in investments by the Industry System in the Serra Gaúcha region.
