During the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) centenary year, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat led the Shastra Pujan (weapon worship) ceremony in Nagpur. In his Vijayadashami address, Bhagwat discussed national unity, social harmony, and the importance of traditional Indian values in addressing modern challenges such as materialism and geopolitical tensions.

Bhagwat introduced the ‘Panch Parivartan’ (five transformations) initiative, which focuses on social harmony, family awareness, environmental consciousness, indigenous values, and civic discipline. He also commented on global political shifts in countries including France, Albania, Nepal, and Bangladesh, asserting that India’s progress will strengthen its capacity to resist destabilizing efforts.
