RTLZWEI has announced the upcoming launch of ‘Maison Tabou’, a new reality dating format scheduled to premiere on September 30, 2026. Produced by UFA Show & Factual, the program will be available on RTL+ one week before its television broadcast.

The show’s premise centers on physical attraction and sexual preferences rather than traditional biographical information such as age, profession, or residence. Participants enter a hotel setting where they temporarily set aside their everyday identities to engage in sensory blind dates and physical intimacy. During these encounters, participants use fantasy names and costumes. These interactions are overseen by a mysterious, invisible hostess known as ‘Madame’. Identities are only revealed during a communal breakfast the following morning, at which point participants must decide whether to pursue a connection or leave the hotel.
