Belgian presenter Ruben Van Gucht addressed his disqualification from the reality television program ‘De Verraders’. Speaking on his program ‘Happy Hour’, Van Gucht argued that his exit was unjustified, claiming that rules regarding electronic equipment were “open to interpretation”. 

He stated that although production crew members discovered a laptop in his room, he lacked internet access and a mobile hotspot, and noted he had not granted permission for the search. Van Gucht described the incident as a “bitter experience” and criticized the production for several errors. Despite the controversy, he continues his media career with upcoming appearances on VRT, VTM, and Play.
