The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has seen significant military reorganizations on both sides.

In Russia, President Vladimir Putin consolidated arms procurement and supply functions under a single post, led by Lieutenant-General Alexander Sanich. Additionally, Lieutenant-General V. Solodchuk was appointed to lead a unified logistics department, alongside new commanders for the Middle and Eastern Group of Forces.

In response to Russian pressure, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reorganized military leadership to bolster defenses in the Donetsk region. He appointed Denys Prokopenko and Andriy Biletskyi to lead new groupings tasked with defending a belt of industrial cities, including Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, and Sloviansk. This reorganization aims to enhance strategic planning for the new Commander-in-Chief, Mykhailo Drapatyi.

Ukrainian forces have also conducted strikes against Russian oil facilities, logistics, and airfields, including a strike on a Lukoil refinery in Kstovo. Meanwhile, Ukraine has announced plans to increase the deployment of ground robotic systems and combat tools on the Zaporizhzhia front.
