A mid-flight incident occurred on a Ryanair Boeing 737 flying from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany, when an engine fragment caused a cabin window to shatter at approximately 6,000 meters.

During the event, 61-year-old passenger Ljubiša Karović was partially sucked out of the aircraft. Footage shows a chaotic cabin environment where passengers utilized oxygen masks as debris and high-velocity wind entered the plane. Fellow passengers, including Karović’s wife, reportedly fought for about two minutes to pull him back into the aircraft.

Karović sustained serious injuries to his head, neck, and shoulder, along with facial and limb burns. Following a six-day hospital stay, Karović expressed significant psychological trauma and indicated intentions to sue Ryanair, citing dissatisfaction with the compensation offered and alleging crew misconduct.
