The recall is a direct response to safety test results from Stiftung Warentest and ADAC. The risk is specifically tied to using the seat in its flattest reclining position on the ISOFIX VARIO BASE 5Z base station; in a frontal collision, the harness buckle may release automatically, potentially causing the child to be ejected.
