The Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV) demonstrated dominance throughout the Sailing Bundesliga season. During the 5th match day at Wannsee, the Hamburg-based team extended its lead in the 1st Sailing Bundesliga by securing 35 points, placing it ahead of the Berliner Yacht-Club and Joersfelder Segel-Club.

At the season finale, also held at Wannsee, the NRV secured its ninth German sailing club championship title. Despite rain and variable winds between 8 and 15 knots, the crew of Tobias Schadewaldt, Klaas Höpcke, Luisa Krüger, and Henrik Peters maintained an 11-point lead to finish the season with a 23-point margin over the runner-up, Joersfelder Segel-Club. 

Following the conclusion of the season, the Deutsche Segel-Liga announced plans for expansion in 2027, including a new European league series and new partnerships.
