The festivities will center on the intersection of Saint Martin Street and Independence Avenue, featuring a traditional colorful procession. This year, approximately 300 participants from 24 organizations, including schools and musical ensembles, will participate in the parade. A key highlight involves the Mayor of Poznań symbolically handing over the keys to the city to Saint Martin, who will then lead the procession through the city center. In addition to the parade, the event will include a festive town with a market for local handicrafts and traditional St. Martin croissants. Musical performances are planned for the main stage at Adam Mickiewicz Square, featuring artists such as Smolik, Kev Fox, and headliner Katarzyna Nosowska. For the first time, the parade will also be accessible via online viewing. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-16: Poznań prepares for St. Martin's Day celebrations and charity musical events Poznań will host a traditional St. Martin's Day parade on November 11 featuring Katarzyna Nosowska, while singer Przemysław Kamiński performs in Warsaw to support a charitable cause. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/pozna-prepares-for-st-martins-day-celebrations-and-charity-musical-events ### 2026-10-12: Poznań prepares for Saint Martin Street Name Day celebrations Poznań will celebrate Saint Martin Street's Name Day on November 11 with a traditional procession, a festive market featuring St. Martin croissants, and musical performances by Katarzyna Nosowska. 8 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/pozna-prepares-for-saint-martin-street-name-day-celebrations --- Cite as: Saint Martin Street Name Day celebrations in Poznań.
