The Saltillo Municipal Government, through the Municipal Planning Institute (Implan), has introduced BiciApp Saltillo. This mobile application is designed to support the local cycling community by allowing users to register trips, identify routes, report incidents, and share cycling habits.

Developed by the Center for Research in Applied Mathematics (CIMA) at the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, the project was funded through a call for proposals from the Fund for the Promotion of Science and Technology (FONCYT). The data collected via the app will be used to identify infrastructure needs, plan maintenance, and expand the city’s cycling network. The platform is available on iOS, Android, and web browsers.
