Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared details regarding her traditional baby shower ceremony, known as a ‘seemantham’, held with her husband, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. The event featured the Kalaa Aavarana (Sri Kalpam) ritual from the Srividya tradition, which honors the 94 kalas of Devi through the seven chakras of the mother-to-be.

Led by a Srividya Upaasaka priest, the ceremony involved the recitation of the Sri Chakra Yantram and the Devi Khadgamaala, utilizing sacred water and mantras to ritually cleanse and energize the chakras. Samantha, who is expecting her first child in December, noted that the pregnancy was a surprise for the couple, who married in December 2025.
