The 13th edition of the Samsung-led Solve for Tomorrow Brasil competition, coordinated by Cenpec, has progressed through various stages of student innovation. 

In the semifinals, participants from Brazilian public schools presented diverse STEM-based projects. These included a digital platform in Maranhão designed for the participatory preservation of historical heritage, and a digital security application from São Paulo aimed at monitoring internet usage and preventing scams through Zero Trust principles.

Subsequently, finalists from the state of Goiás were announced. These projects focused on environmental solutions, such as a solar-powered buoy in Aruanã designed to monitor water quality in the Araguaia and Vermelho rivers, and a low-cost bioherbicide developed in Itumbiara using sorghum roots to combat invasive nutgrass.
