Yekutiel, who previously held major endorsements, suspended his campaign on October 1. In response to the allegations, the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee voted 29-0 to rescind its prior endorsement of Yekutiel. The committee subsequently voted 20-8 to endorse Gary McCoy, a former aide to Representative Nancy Pelosi.
