San Francisco hosted Fleet Week in October 2026, featuring military celebrations, ship tours, and various festivals. The event included a Parade of Ships and a “K9 Heroes” show, with the U.S. Coast Guard implementing maritime traffic restrictions in the Central San Francisco Bay to ensure safety.

A central feature of the festivities was the U.S. Navy Blue Angels aerial demonstration. While heavy fog and low clouds caused a weather-related postponement of the flights on Friday, the squadron returned on Saturday to perform a 40-minute display of high-speed passes and tight formations for thousands of spectators.
