The municipality of San Giuliano Terme has initiated new administrative measures, including the establishment of a Youth Council (Consulta dei Giovani). This council, composed of 13 to 25 residents aged 14 to 18, is designed to provide consultative input on matters such as culture, environment, and urban planning.

However, the local government has recently faced internal friction. Disputes have emerged regarding a 90,000 euro budget variation for a Fiorella Mannoia concert, with opposition members suggesting total expenditures may have exceeded 180,000 euros. Additionally, political tensions have risen following allegations of intimidating conduct toward an opposition councilwoman during a municipal session.
