The 2026 San Lucas Fair in Jaén has commenced with a focus on cultural programming, safety measures, and large-scale illumination.

Musical performances at the La Alameda Municipal Auditorium have featured artists such as Chambao, María Peláe, and Las Migas, blending flamenco and contemporary sounds. To support public safety, the Jaén City Council has deployed the ‘Punto Violeta’ (Violet Point) service, which utilizes fixed tents and mobile teams to provide assistance and prevention regarding gender-based violence and harassment.

The festivities were officially inaugurated with an expanded lighting display featuring 1.4 million LED lights. This installation includes a 3D monumental entrance, a central hub at the Paseo de Caballos, and numerous luminous arches distributed throughout the city.
