The government of San Luis has launched new initiatives to support local entrepreneurship, specifically the third edition of the ‘Mi Próximo Paso’ (MiPro) program and the ‘Mi Primer Emprendimiento’ (MiPre) initiative.

Governor Claudio Poggi announced that the MiPre program provides training scholarships of 250,000 pesos per project for up to eight months. To qualify, projects must include two members, with at least one lacking formal income. Participants are required to complete virtual and in-person training and develop a business plan.

Recent updates to these policies include the removal of age limits to increase accessibility. Additionally, the Governor highlighted the role of credit, such as lines from the Federal Investment Council (CFI) aimed at women-led businesses, in helping local companies expand production and logistics capabilities.
