The Grand and General Council passed a law introducing tax incentives designed to encourage private investment in sports infrastructure and the redevelopment of public real estate. This framework allows individuals and legal entities to receive tax deductions for contributions to significant sporting events and construction projects, aiming to support local federations without increasing the national budget. In tandem with these legislative efforts, local organizations are expanding their reach. The Sammarinese Historical Games Association continues to promote culture through historical simulations and its international San Marino Game Convention. Additionally, the Sammarinese Winter Sports Federation has established a collaboration with alpine locations in France to provide training and competition opportunities for Sammarinese winter athletes. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-26: San Marino organizations expand cultural and sporting initiatives San Marino's Historical Games Association marks 28 years of cultural gaming, while the Winter Sports Federation establishes new ties with French alpine regions for athlete development. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/san-marino-organizations-expand-cultural-and-sporting-initiatives ### 2026-10-24: San Marino approves tax incentives for sports and public property San Marino has passed a law providing tax incentives for sports events and the redevelopment of public property to encourage private investment in community projects. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/san-marino-approves-tax-incentives-for-sports-and-public-property --- Cite as: San Marino sports and cultural development initiatives.
