On October 10, Barneda swapped hosting duties for an upcoming episode with Jorge Javier Vázquez to attend her wedding in Ávila. Later in the month, Barneda was forced to unexpectedly step down from her hosting duties, including the Sunday debate, due to a sudden illness. This withdrawal occurred minutes before a scheduled broadcast, leading Telecinco to implement a rapid replacement strategy. Carmen Borrego hosted the pre-show, while Jorge Javier Vázquez took over the main program. Despite the last-minute indisposition, reports indicated that Barneda was doing well. Recent developments confirm that the presenter’s unexpected departure due to illness necessitated Carmen Borrego taking over hosting duties for the live broadcast, with Jorge Javier Vázquez also assisting in managing the program. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-25: Supervivientes All Stars: Cast transformations and presenter changes Supervivientes All Stars sees presenter Sandra Barneda replaced by Carmen Borrego, while contestants undergo radical hair and grooming changes for rewards. 9 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/telecinco-presenters-change-following-sandra-barneda-illness ### 2026-10-10: Sandra Barneda and Pascalle Paerel marry in Ávila Presenter Sandra Barneda and Pascalle Paerel married in Candeleda, Ávila, in a ceremony attended by many Spanish media personalities.
