The expansion involves the acquisition of 19 new Sandvik units for the high-grade copper asset, which is operated by Ivanhoe Mines and Zijin Mining Group. Sandvik has secured an order to supply 12 Toro TH663i trucks and seven Toro LH621i loaders. Two of these loaders will feature AutoMine® technology, which will increase the site’s autonomous production capability to four AutoMine® Lite systems. This acquisition will bring the active Sandvik fleet at the complex to over 100 units. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the final units expected by the third quarter of 2027.
