Sangmidang Holdings Vice Chairman Heo Jin-su met with international figures in Paris to discuss expanding business cooperation in North America. During a partner event hosted by Gellert Global Group (GGG) at the U.S. Ambassador to France’s residence, Heo held discussions with GGG Chairman George Gellert and U.S. Ambassador Charles Kushner.

As the only South Korean company invited to the gathering, which included approximately 80 companies, Sangmidang Holdings is reviewing plans to supply major mainstream markets and food ingredient distribution networks in the United States. The companies are also exploring distribution channels in Canada and Mexico.

Furthermore, Heo engaged with European food ingredient and bakery manufacturing companies to support the expansion of the Samlip and Paris Baguette businesses in Europe. Following the meeting, Ambassador Kushner and Chairman Gellert visited the Samlip exhibition booth at the SIAL Paris 2026 food trade fair.
