Bain Capital and Omnam Group announced the sale of The Lake Como EDITION, a luxury resort in Cadenabbia, Italy, to Sansiri Capital, a fund managed by the Thai real estate developer Sansiri Public Company Limited.

The property, housed in a 19th-century building, underwent extensive redevelopment and repositioning after being acquired by Bain Capital and Omnam Group in late 2021. It officially opened in March 2026 as part of Marriott International’s EDITION collection. 

While the official sale price was not disclosed, reports suggest the deal is valued at approximately 230 million euros. The acquisition represents a significant entry for Sansiri into the European luxury hospitality market. The resort features 148 accommodations and various wellness facilities.
