Colombian singer-songwriter Santiago Cruz announced his eleventh studio album, ‘Fragmentos’, alongside a humanitarian initiative. To support families affected by the August 10 earthquake and forest fires in the Tolima department, Cruz pledged all digital streaming royalties from his single ‘Sigo En Pie’ for its first six months to the Food Bank Association of Colombia (Abaco), with additional concert ticket proceeds contributing to the effort.

Following the announcement, Cruz released ‘Fragmentos’ on September 16, 2026. The album explores themes of absence, fragility, and finitude. Cruz noted the project was influenced by personal reflections on the passage of time and his proximity to the age his father was at the time of his death, describing his current songwriting process as a liberating form of storytelling.
