Following a period at AC Milan, Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez has moved to FC Porto. His agent, Rafaela Pimenta, defended his performance in Italy, attributing his difficulties to a lack of institutional stability at Milan and the challenges of a mid-season arrival. Pimenta described the move to Porto as an “ideal connection” for the player.

Gimenez is currently seeking to revitalize his career during his tenure at Porto. After struggling to maintain impact during his time in Italy, he recently delivered a decisive performance against Napoli in the final round of the Champions League. Porto coach Farioli praised his performance and his role in the team's strategy.
