Singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles has released her seventh studio album, ‘Good Grief’, via Epic Records. This marks her first full-length project since 2019’s ‘Amidst the Chaos’. The 14-track collection explores themes of loss and emotional equilibrium, which Bareilles described as a means to provide “comfort or catharsis” for listeners.

The album features several collaborations, including a duet with Brandi Carlile on ‘Salt Then Sour Then Sweet’ and a track co-written with Ingrid Michaelson titled ‘Nervous Breakdown’. Other contributors include Aaron Dessner, Joe Tippett, and Megan Falley.

The film, which features executive producers Pink, Glennon Doyle, and Abby Wambach, documents the recording process at Dreamland Recording Studios and explores the healing power of music through Bareilles’ experiences with fertility and the loss of close friends.
