Artist Sara Forte is hosting the “Rock Icons. Aerei e aeroporti nelle leggende del Rock’n’Roll” exhibition at Milan Malpensa Airport’s Terminal 1, specifically within the La Porta di Milano space.

Promoted by SEA Aeroporti di Milano and curated by Luciano Bolzoni and Fortunato D’Amico, the project utilizes large-format painting, video installations, and digital language to examine the historical intersection of the rock and roll era and the rise of commercial aviation from the 1950s to the 1970s.

The exhibition features seven musical groups—The Who, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and U2—presented through light installations using the Quadruslight technique. The showcase launched in October 2026 and is scheduled to remain open to travelers until January 31, 2027.
