Sassuolo has engaged in several transfer market activities to strengthen its squad. The club initially secured the signing of Vasilije Adzic from Juventus, a move involving a buy-back clause. Sporting Director Francesco Palmieri noted his high expectations for Adzic, stating, ‘I think he can do great things in this environment.’

Following this, the club finalized a loan agreement with Benfica for Spanish defender Rafael Obrador. The deal for the 22-year-old includes an option to purchase the player permanently, reportedly valued at €7 million at the end of the season. 

In addition to incoming transfers, Sassuolo has also facilitated the departure of Uruguayan striker Agustin Alvarez, who has joined Club Atletico Talleres on a loan deal that includes an option to buy.
