Saudi Arabia is expanding its entertainment and gaming sectors through large-scale events and industry initiatives. In late 2026, Riyadh announced the inaugural Kingdom of Gaming (KoG) event, scheduled for December 1–3 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center – Malham. The event aims to connect global developers, investors, and studios, with participation expected from entities such as Savvy Games Group, Ubisoft, and Roblox.

Furthering the entertainment agenda, the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) launched the guide for Riyadh Season 2027, themed ‘Big Time’. The seventh edition of the season officially began on October 21, 2026, and is scheduled to run until March 1, 2027. The season features a diverse lineup of sporting, artistic, and cultural activities, including WWE Crown Jewel, the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, UFC championships, and the ‘Mexico vs. The World’ boxing match.

As part of the season, tickets for Boulevard World have been released via the Webook platform ahead of its opening on October 30, 2026. Now in its fifth consecutive year as a Riyadh Season destination, Boulevard World offers cultural experiences inspired by regions including Japan, China, France, Italy, Mexico, and the United States, alongside dedicated African, Asian, and Levantine zones. Key attractions include the ‘Amazonia Awakens’ water ride, the ‘Vuz Dome’ cinema, and various interactive racing experiences.
