The horror film franchise ‘Saw’ is undergoing various high-definition restorations and re-releases. 

In Japan, a 4K restored Director’s Cut of the original 2004 film is scheduled for a limited two-week theatrical run in approximately 60 theaters starting October 30, 2026, as part of the ‘Filmarks Horror’ revival project. 

Concurrently, Lionsgate announced that ‘Saw V’, ‘Saw VI’, and ‘Saw VII’ will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and Digital on November 10, 2026. These editions will include both theatrical and extended or unrated versions, featuring Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for select titles, along with legacy and newly produced bonus materials.
